Nextel Partners is a better bet, in my opinion. Close to the same story as Nextel but better because the balance sheet is cleaner, the competition is less in 2nd tier markets, more humble less arrogant management team, and much stronger growth. Their expenses should be better than those of Nextel too because the benefit for free from Nextel's advertising budget and have learned from some of Nextel's mistakes. They also have the ability to put themselves to Nextel if there is a change of control at Nextel. Just my opinion but I'd take NXTP over NXTL.
