tony, My point was that the way they are doing it possibly* dilutes earnings by possibly raising the number of shares outstanding* You are correct; AMD could dilute their shareholders. Actually, if AMD pissed that money away on a new "professorial" chair at Harvard Business School, I would definitely say that the money was wasted. Most likely, the majority of the money is going to pay off the current portion of their LT debt and the remainder... I have no idea... Hopefully, they have some projects that have decent ROI.... mind you, I didn't mean SOI..<gggg>
