Sen. Phil Gramm has removed himself from the Enron
inquiry. I believe he is on the Banking committee. He
may be the chair. Also, he says he won't run for the
Senate again! I wonder why.......(LOL)


Actually, the fine Senator of the great state of Texas announced his decision to not run well before this Enron fiasco. Though from the article, I wonder why he was collecting campaign contributions that he's now returning. I'll have to scratch my head over that phenomena.

Pres Bush has distanced himself from Ken Lay...will Phil distance himself from Dr. Gramm?
