Bill/WA: PMs are always welcome. I should note that due to workload, I frequently get way behind in answering them (but I try hard not to let any fall through the cracks). Having worked with a few superb reporters, I have had a chance to observe the many pressures that they must be prepared to endure if they want to really get a negative story to print. Editors, publishers, lawyers, advertisers..... most of the players in their world just "dont want the hassle" that comes with a negatively biased article. The good ones that have both the positional power and/or the strength of will, can make it happen, but for most of the rest, it is but a dream. My favourite powerhouse reporter has both in spades and more courage than Dick Tracey to boot...... and she is a she. Best, Earlie
