Petz,

Very good analysis of the Sysmark.

"In short, Sysmark 2001 is a totally rigged benchmark, devoid of any resemblance to real internet content creation or office application usage."

I disagree. Some of your points are valid, but
it does not matter. Any benchmark has a merit, even
a silliest one. What does matter is its' correct
interpretation. Also, there is always a position:
"Can you do _THIS_?". And if you cannot, the rest
is still an excuse.

As I said, the 2x jump is clearly bogus, especially
when apparently the same processor in the same
board was used, just sysclock was 40% higher.
Most likely the system timer got screwed up
when BIOS or Windows become confused with an unusual
CPU frequency.
