16:09 ET Starbucks (SBUX) 23.14 +0.50: -- Update -- Reports Q1 (Dec) earnings of $0.15 excluding a two cent gain from the sale of a portion of Starbucks Japan, which would be in line with the Multex consensus assuming analysts did not include this gain; revenues rose 21% yr/yr to $805 mln vs the consensus of $798.5 mln. Company guides FY02 to $0.52-0.53 excluding the two cent gain, in line with the current consensus of $0.53.
