I don't buy into the idea that problems for one company in a sector automatically mean the whole sector is condemned. In general sectors are dependent on economic conditions. The biotech sector is different. Problems for a competitor are not bad for those who compete with it, unless the problem is specific to a type of drug. And to a lessor degree all biotechs compete against one another for the attention of investors. Am aware this is not an accepted view. I only know, that in the real world, my heart, leap for joy with the demise of any foe!
