They aren't making it easy to figure out what is going on.

16:46 ET QUALCOMM (QCOM) 43.71 +0.17: -- Update -- The comparison between QCOM's EPS guidance and current estimates is unclear, as the company is now excluding various items that were previously included, reducing FY02 guidance by $0.12-0.16. New guidance is $0.90-0.97, which would presumably be $1.02-1.13 under the old method, vs the consensus of $1.07. More clear is revenue guidance, which is now 5-15% growth for FY02, or roughly $2.81-3.08 bln vs the consensus of $3.09 bln. In short - while Q2 revenues guidance was significantly worse than expected, FY02 guidance is not that bad.
