SHOW PROOF of dishonesty, and the AMD fans come out of the woodwork to claim that it's a "Put Down".

What proof. Your proof of dishonesty seems to be the fact that Arthur Anderson is somehow involved. Thats not proof. Its not evdience. Its not even much of a hint that anything is shady or underhanded about AMDs model numbers.

semi,

I'm sure that AMD chose Arthur Anderson, instead of their regular Auditors because....

I have to admit that I don't know who AMD's regular auditor is, but from knowing something about the industry, Anderson Consulting has been the most aggressive and successful of the big 5 in the IT consulting field. The talent they have is the the deepest and widest of all of the big 5.

semi,

With all fairness to Anderson, one aspects of Anderson's business, i.e. their audits of Enron, have alot of smoke. Do you actually believe that the entire organization to be corrupt and dishonest?

>Funny how intel gets ripped apart any time there is any "perceived" hint of mis-information, but let anything connected with AMD, SHOW PROOF of dishonesty, and the AMD fans come out of the woodwork to claim that it's a "Put Down".

That door definitely swings both ways... I have no idea who started that pattern, but that's the way it is.
