Look for AMD to continue to post losses, then.


You might say "look for AMD to post losses" for some other reason, but when you say "look for AMD to continue to post losses, then." It implies that something about what I said would be the reason for them to post losses. I said that flash ASPs may recover this year. They don't have to recover to the previous high levels for AMD to make a profit.

If they don't recover and if the CPU market doesn't pick up then AMD will continue to post losses, but if the flash and CPU markets don't recover in 2002 then Intel isn't that good of an investment either. I think both stocks will end 2002 higher then they are now because I do think we will get some recovery in 2002.
