Amein. You said...." but there are verses in Quran that states that the religious figures of Christianity and Judaism altered the word of God for their own purpose...

so, in abstract, Christianity and Judaism are the same as Islam in that all are from God" ...

Are you saying that no religious figures in the Quran altered altered the word of God for their own purpose even though the Quran was written after the death of Mohammed and even though Mohammed could neither read or write??
So the whole islam faith is based on the words of another human who is subject to error as are all humans subject to error.
These words of the Quran were witten some 2000 years ago
so you do not really know if it has been altered since that time. What you and others have is a faith that it is the true words of God because someone has told you or has convinced you that this is so.....Correct?

And what makes you believe that whoever wrote in the Quran that some verses had been changed by Christian and Judaism religious leaders is true. It seems to me that because the Quran was written maybe a 1000 years after Moses
and many many years after Christ that it is much more likely that any alteration of verses would have occured during the writing of the Quran. ??

That is quite an ignorant statement. Islam does not believe the Messiah has arrived, while Christians believe Jesus Christ to be the son of God, who was resurrected after his Crucifixion. As Easter, the holiest day of the year for Christians, is nearly upon us, you may wish to visit any local cathedral or parish church, and you will find many Christians happy to answer any of your questions.
