IMO, Intel will make sure their version of x86-64 is NOT compatible with AMD. This will delay the project from 2003/2004 to 2004 for certain.

BTW, wasn't McKinley supposed to be done by now? Where is it? And isn't McKinley still a 0.18 chip?

BTW, great find, with Car L's help. I'll have to take a look at Paul Engel's "spin control" on this story.
