DJ, thanks for looking. I have the English translation somewhere. More importantly, I have his newsletters in which he explained in great detail why he felt the SE Asia bubble would burst. He drove home the point hard in his March 1997 issue. These are not exaggerated claims the guy is brilliant. I have been a subscriber for 5 + years . I am NOT AWARE of any other economist who predicted that the SEA bubble would burst. Dr. R was also out in front in exposing the impact of hedonics and how it overstates growth & productivity, the impact of employee stock options accounting on earnings, the big disparity between NIPA profits and reported profits. If you want a market timer he is not for you but if you want to understand the hype , lies and deception surrounding the " new economy" he is great. Mike
