It's the old "kick butt" mentality. As long as we are kicking someone else's butt....all is OK. Americans love to cheer one another to victory. The image of this skirmish ( there is no declared war ) is being manufactured quite closely by the administration. I have heard that no negative info can be released because the administration will toss any negative news agency out of the theatre in Afghanistan. It is important that we all see only the manufactured image that Washington creates, and not the truth. We are being set up for the next round ...........as you stated.
