Joe, >"Intel only" Gateway sees sales plummet, axes jobs

So, Intel only Dell gobbles up market share in both the PC and small server markets. Maybe it has everything to do with business model and execution.

Joe - Re: ""Intel only" Gateway sees sales plummet, axes jobs"

AMDroid hypocrisy - way to go, Spinmeister!!

Gateway did just what AMDawg did - they stopped selling lower cost AMD junk, raised their ASPs - AND MADE A PROFIT (of course, AMD made a LOSS !!!)

Jozeph,

Compaq Raises Earnings Forecast for 2002

Your spin,<"Intel only" Gateway sees sales plummet, axes jobs>, is baseless.

"Compaq, which plans to merge with Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE:HWP - news) , cited expected demand for data storage by corporations, demand for server computers based on Intel Corp. (Nasdaq:INTC - news) microchips and increased demand for security products and managed services."
