wbmw, it was the same post. It sounds like it's still uncertain whether or not Intel will ever release it. The rumour sounds a bit suspicious. Why would Intel make their version compatible with Amd's? The whole point it to send AMD scrambling so they HAVE to make theirs incompatible. I like the part of the rumour that says that the 64 bit stuff will be in there but it will be switchable ( like hyper-threading ). Intel is leveraging their capacity so they can add a lot of features on their chips with no regard to die size. Smart.
