I'm saying while in office Clinton never gave a rats ass about the military. And it's only through the dedication, sacrifice and hard work of military members themselves that its held together so well. Additionally, military strategy played a key role in our success in Afghanistan. Bush (like his father before him) made the right calls. Gave latitude to the Generals and Admirals to make things happen. And they did. On the other hand Democrats like Carter, and Clinton felt the need to micromanage every detail. And put the U.N. feelings above the lives and safety of our troops. Thus we had the horror (which is now a movie) happen in Somalia.
