OK, how's this for style?

<<The ELH #1 (formerly referred to as BKP #1) began production from the
Phacoides sands in February 2001 and, although production rates did
exceed 13 million cubic feet per day at one point in the early
stages, there has since been a marked decline. Recent production has
been at approximately 15% of the 12 million cubic feet per day that
we are told the well is quite capable of maintaining, subject to
being linked to proper water disposal facilities.

Previous reports have stated that plans are in place, and the
necessary approval applications have been lodged, to enable the
construction of water disposal facilities that can be connected to
the ELH #1 production well and other wells (ELH #4 sidetrack and ELH
#9) as and when they prove successful. It appears to be an
inordinately slow process and, as an observer with an indirect
interest in the project we find it difficult to understand why the
development of the water disposal facilities does not appear to be a
first priority.>>
