12:16 ET Dell Computer (DELL) 28.01 +0.71 (+2.6%): -- Technical -- Strong performer amid talk of market share gain but gains limited thus far by resistance at 28/28.05 (50 simple/20 exp ma). Next short term barrier of interest if resistance is breached is found in the 28.45/28.50 area. Would become more cautious intraday on slide back below support at 27.82/27.77. 12:05 ET Microsoft (MSFT) 63.62 -0.98 (-1.5%): -- Technical -- For the third session in a row MSFT has been stymied by its 200 day simple ma with prices now working back toward the lower end of this range (63.24). A failure here would open the door next to the late Nov low (62.73) and the 38% retracement of the Sep/Jan rally at 61.78.
