<< I don't think that Oslo was forced on Israel by the Clinton administration. >>

I disagree. The Clinton Administration policy towards Israel was ALWAYS for Israel to make the concessions, and for the Palestinians to get the benefits, thru Clinton's policy of appeasement. This was Clinton's Policy until he left office. Israel, under this continuous Clinton pressure of appeasement, gave in, and accepted the Oslo Accords.

When Bush took over, he maintained the Clinton policy of appeasement towards the Palestinians, and pressure on the Israelis. That is, until the Karine-A came along filled with Iranian weapons slated for use against innocent Israelis.

Pow! All of a sudden, America has awoken to the insidious threat of Palestinian terrorism, and the real evil of the thought of a Palestinian terrorist State.
