How could credible information be known before hand that would warrant a 30% drop in 45 days while the rest of the market makes a nice move. The game continues. Thoughts?

I dont understand why people cant simply accept that the subscriber numbers drive both earnings and Q's stock price.

At the beginning of December, we received sub numbers that were below expectation from Korea, Japan and Radio Shack. You can trace the decline almost exactly to these reports. The decline in January continued as we received more bad reports from Korea, Japan, VZ, and PCS.

No conspiracy....just normal discounting of bad news. Q revealed nothing new when they brought down earnings/handset sale guidance.

Any thoughts?

Break a leg and find out the name of that orhtopedist.

Sorry, don't mean to be facetious but Slacker is right, the stock price closely track the sub figures.

There is no magic to it. I would suspect that the orthopedist will on occassion not be the greatest source of information. The sub figures don't lie. They are the Q's single best indicator of revenue.
