Les:

What a load of perfect rubbish. That outfit has been tossing off stupid predictions and inaccurate (optimistic) historical poop for years. Long term SI readers will remember back a few years when I used to keep a file on these guys and air their more insane stupidities.

My dog can't interpret weather maps but even he could see this whole tech wreck coming for at least the last three years.

It really gets me angry when I read this kind of puke. This was no "perfect storm", it was plain and simple market saturation combined with excessive production capacity... classic kindergarten stuff and glaringly visible to anybody who wandered past the end of his driveway. It has been abundantly clear for at least four years that it was happening. Even the global annual figures have pointed the way for that period of time, but of course these dunces ignored it in favour of the "we expect 25% growth in the coming year" type scenarios.

What really offends is that this vomit gets into print without a trace of journalistic questioning as to its accuracy. This is plain and simple fanny covering.

Best, Earlie
