gw, I don't see how this is different than 3dnow vs sse and sse2. sse and sse2 compatible cpus now outnumber 3dnow cpus even though the former was introduced first and had more than 6 months lead. No one complained when Intel did that.

No they don't, Hammer runs 32 bit stuff just fine - atleast that's what everyone keeps telling me.
