There's no question there were foxes in the hen house during the Clinton years. The longest expansion in history was a house of cards.

I hadn't thought of that angle, but it makes sense. But not only did it fail to help Enron by helping them out of bad trades, it caused a recession, when combined with Greenspan's raising interest rates because he felt the employment rate was too high.

Maybe the higher oil prices would have helped, but then California utilities went bankrupt, cause they weren't planning on high oil prices, and then they don't pay Enron, and ...

What a joke demolibs are.
