This is the big scandal (under-regulated off-shore schemes), and unfortunately it is the part of the story which is most likely to get swept under the rug...

Raymond, it was on page 1 of the Wall Street Journal. I read it via WSJ's web-site: online.wsj.com

I agree with you about the true nature of the scandal. And this has been my fear, too, that they'll try to smoke-screen the real scandal by attempting to hid it behind a lesser one. 'Course....given the magnitude of people truly hurt by this I'd like to think any smoke screen will be as a tissue-paper wall in a hurricane. But we're just going to have to wait, watch and see how it all unfolds.....
