Here is what the Roxio software mentions about a CD r not playing except in the computer.

Most likely the CD has not yet been finalized. You need to finalize the CD before you can play the CD in a home or car CD player.

Note: Make sure you have recorded all of the songs you want on the CD before you finalize it. Once a CD has been finalized, you will not be able to record any more songs to the CD.

If you want to continue recording songs to the CD and are not ready to finalize it, you can play unfinalized CDs in SoundStream.

If your CD is finalized, the problem may be the CD-R disc you are using. Some CD-R discs work better than others in home or car CD players. You may need experiment with different brands of CD-R discs to find one that works in your CD player.

If your CD is finalized and the CD works in one CD player but not another CD player, the problem may be that the CD player does not recognize CD-R discs. Refer to your CD player manufacturer for information.
