Goldmans...CSFB..Merril...Lehman's ect ....were all named as the Players whose 'advise' led thousands and thousands of investors to the poor house.......
They wont be back imo........>>

Not much in the way of scientific evidence but I've noticed people I visit with in the investment, estate planning, and similar businesses are seeing a lot of folks who are looking for places to place new funds they come into in any place other than stocks. I'll take that as a signal towards the bottom, as well as an indictment of the the whole brokerage-analyst-talking head scam.

Let's see: as a profession, attorneys lost credibility and respect to the point that a whole category of jokes has been developed around them (with apologies to all of my friends, relatives, and threadmates in the legal profession), public accountants are going down the tubes led by pied piper Andersen (ditto), and analysts and the money houses have now garnered the general disgust of the masses. They all pleaded for intra-profession oversight but couldn't control their greed. Crapped in their own nests to the detriment of all. I wonder who's next? Politicians? (Har-har-har.)

Reminds me of a twist on an old bumper sticker. "Please don't tell my mother I'm a stock analyst. She thinks I'm a piano player in a whore house." ; )

.......VVVVVVV (a member of one of the above-mentioned professions; hint - not the piano player in the cat house <grin>)
