I don't doubt that some people are saying it, and I fully expect the cackling clowns which are abundant on this thread to embrace anything, especially if they can throw in a jab at Clinton, but I am amazed to see such an idea taken seriously. What is the logic? Will base commanders who have been resisting cutbacks be lulled into contentment so their force can be snuck away from them? Will the resistant ones finally get to retire?
