Shaw said they will save $5 per subscriber, now that they are free of @HOME.

I'm not sure why I haven't done a speed test yet, I'll check when I get back to my home computer later this weekend.

Regards,
Jay

Did my conversion last weekend and it went without a hitch except for an email test failure. I'm happy to say that there was no change. My latency was about the same and my dl ul speed was unchanged at 2.2mbps/180kbps. I meant to do a speed check early this morning but forgot. Early in the morning I usually get dl speeds in excess of 3mbps. As far as I can tell Cox hasn't' put a cap on things. Now I'm receiving email for both my new and old address.

I'm finding my system faster since all the extra At Home software was removed. However, since the software replaced my browser settings, my right mouse button doesn't work with objects in the Internet Explorer, nor does the Properties function on the File pulldown menu. Everything in Netscape works as before.
