I have said that I owned LRCX and that it was my most profitable holding from 1996 to 2000. I don't think I have any bias against LRCX that is unwarranted. Your statement that they are equal to NVLS in quality must ignore all history of both companies. LRCX has been run, recently, by new management and there is reason to believe that this team is as good as the AMAT and NVLS teams. I think it is reasonable for you to bet on this team, but you seem to have lost your objectivity with respect to LRCX.

I'd add LRCX to the list as I think they are equal to NVLS in quality.

I would second that and say that IMHO LRCX still does not get the respect from WS that NVLS does; I could understand why in 96, but certainly not now.
