But concocting a "energy crisis" in California to cash in on it, was a bad way to start.

Creating a trading platform and calling bandwidth a commodity -albeit a smaller part of its business- was a pioneer idea. But trading within itself to inflate the bandwidth trading business was a bad way to start too.

It was bad executed.
