I have very similar memories, Clappy.

I used to lay in same spot and serve the same purpose.

One standout memory was Sunday evenings, walking up the street to home of some friends that had a color TV. We would walk up religiously to watch Flipper and The Wonderful World of Disney.....The color just blew me away.

Johnathan Winter just killed me. Dom Deluise, too. George Carlin and Richard Pryor when they were just getting their start....oh man.

I still remember the first time I saw Little Richard, sweating buckets through that pancake makeup, but just pounding out the best music....I remember looking at my Dad with that "what's with this Dude look"....my Dad says, "he's a strange bird, but he's great."

Hey, Clappy, what's up? 2 more good ones were "Laugh In", which always ended way too soon, and the "Smothers Brothers' Show".
