When I first heard about the Enron investigations,
the image of W that came to mind was that
of The Organization Man, a man dedicated
to the company and its interest because
he profited because his last name was Bush.
Of course, his image has changed because he
is now President.

At heart though, his convictions and the people
in his life have revolved always
around the Texas energy industries.

wonder people are furious. As NYTimes columnist's
Floyd Norris pointed out: people are angry at accountants these days. In the old days, they were after communists!

I wonder how these hearings will turn out. So many
people are involved that most of the members of
congress should resign. And we are still not
sure about the White House.
