Robert. Do you happen to know what the reward in paradise is for women suicide bombers? Maybe the arabs think they can extract more world sympathy with women bombers?

Jerusalem suicide bomber was a Palestinian woman: police

January 27, 2002, 06:02 PM

JERUSALEM (AFP) - The Palestinian suicide bomber who killed one Israeli in west Jerusalem was a woman, the first to carry out a suicide attack in the bloody Israeli-Palestinian conflict, police sources said.

Israeli police identified as an 81-year-old Israeli man and a Palestinian woman the two fatal casualties of the attack, which also injured dozens of other people on the disputed city's busy Jaffa Road.

Meanwhile, the television channel of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement reported that the woman bomber was a student at the Al-Najah university in the West Bank town of Nablus.

"The martyrdom operation was carried out by a female student from the Al-Najah university in Nablus," an official from Al-Manar television told AFP, without naming her.

The university is known to be a bastion of Palestinian fundamentalist movements, mostly Hamas.

The explosion from Sunday's attack ripped through west Jerusalem's Jaffa Road, a major commercial area, where 15 people were killed by a Hamas suicide

bomber on August 9,

Jaffa Road was also hit last Tuesday by an Al Aqsa gunman who killed two Israelis, including a 78-year-old woman, in a shooting spree before being shot dead.

Around 40 were injured and many others suffered shock in the blast set off by the woman who had managed to get through heavy security deployed after the spate of bloody attacks in Jaffa Road.

Police described the device she was carrying as massive, and a woman's arm was among the human debris found in the street among other body parts, as emergency workers picked through the bloodied broken glass for charred flesh.

egypt will not give up that land. us stopped israel, france and england in 1956 at same time us didn't back hungary against soviets- yet - john foster dulles was supposedly a hawk- and us was the superpower, then, as now.
it would be nice if egypt or someone would hospitably accept arabs from west bank- but no one will.
