I think you and TP and giving GWB way too much credit. He basically has no credentials other than he is the son of a wealthy family and ran the Texas finances into the ground. He is in his element now, because he is a Christian Bible toting Right Wing Hawk and has found a cause. Waging war, is his specialty, more folks wer executed in Texas under him than anywhere. He has surrounded himself with hawks and now is comfy. He is not that bright and really doesn't have the ability to think broadly. And as the huge budget for defense gets sold he will have to have some large enemies to take on, besides twenty guys and horse. We will attack some country likely mid term to prop up re-election chances. So it a function on when people catch on in the US, in Viet Nam it took six years and 50,000 dead before the people realized the war itself was the atrocity. Bush we use war to get try to get reelected because the economy will still be stumbling and he needs to justify the increases. The rest of the world has already caught on, and is scared stiff, and has decided to sit tight until we get sane again. Not pleasant reading!
