Ilmarinen is the only poster on SI I have on ignore. I find him much less annoying now that I don't ever see a single word that he says.

This constant propaganda death wish on (the moderate) Arafat and the Oslo agreement is so manipulative that it obviously isn't rude?? Plus the actual deeds, destroying the incremental steps agreed to - increased illegal settlers, setllement - increased illegal bulldozing - limitation upto direct attacks on palestinian police - destruction of the airport - destruction of the two helicopters - confinement of Arafat, not outside palestine, but inside - destruction of the radio station That is, destruction of the mechanisms that were agreed to, to slowly, incrementally decrease tention, occupation,etc.. According to the _reality_ that the conflict cannot be solved in a split second, by either side alone, or by force, nor by outsiders alone. Instead of real poltics, it is almost perfect, cold blooded opportunism politics in combination with a flow of regular propaganda, both by carefully and selectively editing reality and by constructiong it when that is not enough. That is, similar incrementally tention decreasing mechanisms that was used, is used within North Ireland, where the majority of the steps already are implemented. (where they now concentrate on the local details, children walking to school, participation in minor conflict solving, regular social and mental problems, etc) But this "death wish plus cult" on Arafat is kind of out in propganda space, but seem to work to avoid other stuff. Ilmarinen In terms of "pseudo-intellect", somebody posted the Oslo agreement, no follow ups??
