Gottfried,...I don't know what to make of it....

The current emphasis from this quarters reporting is out look.... I hate to be so short term focused, but this is a very unforgiving market. With guidance being lower next quarter (LRCX, NVLS and others) I would become a short term trader here.

But even if one is a short term trader every semi-equipment stock becomes a buy at some price. LRCX under 20, NVLA under 30 and with AMAT wait until the earnings are released and listen to the conference call prior to making a determination.

I think that charts and moving averages are a great indicators in a stable market....but this market is anything but stable, thanks to Enron, Asbestos, and Accounting.
