I've never been to Australia, but someone --maybe you-- was talking about all the free booze that was included with hotel rooms, which is also unique--at least in the English speaking world, as far as I know. Maybe I will save my gold for a trip there. People keep referring to a recent endorsement of gold by Merrill Lynch. Wonder if anyone has a URL to that. It would not take much buying by mutual fund managers to make NEM take a big jump, as we all know.
