A lot of what is going on right now is the responsibility of the government, its rules and regs. If not for the serpentine tax code, Enron would not have embarked on their accounting shenanigans. It is entirely possible that a complete forensic review of what they have done will not violate the tax code, although morally reprehensible, depending on your perspective. Whats funny to me is the indignant attitudes of the members of these congressional committees. Especially that Tauzin slime, who had a hand in the demise of telecom, with his shifty actions to change the Telecom act to benefit the big players.

There my friend is the rub.They are big boys,with most of our society yielding to the absolute authority they crave. I contribute most,if not all of the corruption and downfall of our society to the left-wing ivy league lawyers that have taken control of this country,in the name of protecting the innocent,the unknowing,the ignorant,the irresponsible. And leaving the ambulance chasing for much deeper pockets. CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS. From the tobacco lawsuits to the fleabags that stood in line to defend Taliban Walker. It should be a troublesome moral issue. I wonder if John Banzhaf was a friend to Kenneth Lay while Lay was at Geo.Washington University? There might be a connection there,I may check it out. . Enron ties to Bush/Cheney. . Enron ties to George Washington University. I might be on to something big ! .
