I have a house on Cape Cod that I rent when I am not using it in the summer. For the upcoming summer, we rented sooner and at a better price than any of the last 4 years. The price was out asking price which we generally keep until we need to rent the last few weeks in April, May and June. We usually rent out in May. This year we were finished by early January. People are not interested in flying on their summer vacations and are looking for destinations that are close enough to drive to. I can't comment on the current price of real estate but the last three years have seen an appreciation of at least 50% in the value of properties on Cape Cod. Ro
