Jurgis,

I've actually had a "thing" for Apollo for a while. It was a carryover from back in 1999 or earlier. It tends to show up in alot when I look at companies with characteristics I like. I think I've owned it at least once before, maybe twice.

I've also tended to have a "thing" for CDWC, it's always seemed to be the most efficient of the mail order/online computer store type places which is important when margins are so thin. I'll reverify against it's main competitors now. It has a tendency to get way overvalued occassionally - perhaps alot of mo-mo traders involved with the stock.

I'm familiar with Checkpoint Software (CHKP) from some gorilla game investing I do, but I'm a little uncomfortable with it being in Isreal given the current situation and also the fact the Microsoft could probably destroy these margins if they really target the security market.

American Eagle - very interesting numbers - extremely consistent and at a good valuation.

Bed/Bath/Beyond - has been on the list for a long time too. Results have a high degree of consistency.

ANF - This one has been discussed a bunch - I know alot of folks like this one. Main concern is I don't understand what makes trendy retailing work. Reminds me a bit of something like Tommy Hillfiger which was constantly showing up on screens a few years ago. Just couldn't understand why they should perform better than other retailers.

I'm familiar with Comverse Tech, but definitely there's alot of risk there. If I recall from the first quick glance they've had a recent drastic change in performance so they're probably off the list. They have some strong high growth competition also. They'll probably do OK when telecoms recover and tech spending picks back up.

Not familiar at all with WAT or MTD, but the numbers of both were very interesting at first glance.

I'll probably pass on ADRX if for no other reason than it's so difficult to understand what makes the drug companies tick.
