I ask everyone to pray for my Brother-in law Hugh, a devout Christian, who has been been diagnosed with Matastic Cancer of the liver and Melanoma, type five...the worst...! He has been told there is nothing ro be done...no treatment...no chemo..no nothing. He has been told to seek a hospice with which to spend his last few days. weeks, months ! All of us on this page know that God's healing and merciful and loving hand can change this diagnosis...can cure him. AMEN AMEN AMEN. PLEASE ADD your prayers to those of his family. We, the family, are especially devoted to Blessed Matt Talbott, the founder of AA, whose intercession with Christ Jesus, in our mind, was responsible for Christ's healing hands being directed to my nephew, found shot several times in the gut, and left for dead alongside a highway, ten years ago. Despite losing his gall bladder etc. etc. he survived. Our family is offering a novena of prayers, ending 2/2/02, asking Blessed Matt to intercede for Hugh with Jesus. I ask for your prayerful intercession, your Christ-like love and prayerful support for Hugh's healing and recovery.

Gregor: I appreciate the prayers.

I will pray for the list you, posted.

Please pray for a family I met today, that went to my Church in CA, and now attends the Church I attend. I almost wonder, if I was entertaining angels :), because I met them across town, randomly, and it was so funny! He left a Sales Job at HP, of all things.

That is the second family that I realize has the two Churches in common. That does not count me!!

Maybe I have shared this, other situation, but it is ironic!

The first was many years ago, and I was in California when the younger daughter moved, much to her family's chagrin. Her family was upset and they were asking for people to pray for her. I was in Sunday School, in California, and part of the leadership. I was familiar with all the three sisters, and the family was different. I still prayed.

About 2 months later, I moved, and started visiting a new Church. She was sitting right there, at the Church, with the mystery guy. As it turns out, he was the Singles' Pastor. He was an incredible guy and her Father and one sister flew out to get her to return. The classic thing, is that 15 years ago, she was probably 35, and the youngest of three girls. My pastor tried to help the Father and sister. That family was dysfunctional.

After a few years, she returned to the Bay Area, with her husband. They started a Church, in California, and it is my understanding that the family sorted everything out. He was very sound and a great guy.

Anyway, the thread can pray for this second family, that I met today, because he is in between jobs and they are dealing with decisions now. They need clarity on where to live, and they have financial decisions.
