<< IMO the real power is from Iran,& saudia arabia and there is no hope for a peaceful settlement. >>

I agree.

It seems coincidental that Arafat turned down peace and a Palestinian State, and at the same time purchased the ship Karina-A for a 50 ton weapons purchase from Iran, followed by the attack against America on 9/11; and then escalating violence against Israel, until now.

It is only going to get worse for Israel. The violence is going to get more deadly and more violent.

I would guess that Arafat and the terrorist groups, including Al Qaeda, and several Arab nations, have started an undeclared war against Israel and America.

Sept 11th wasn't a solitary mission. It wasn't the end of their plan, it was the beginning. One thing that they didn't expect was for Bush to be so pro-active and pick up hundreds of terrorist associates throughout America, and the world. They also didn't expect the US to be so proactive and successful in defeating Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan.

They are going ahead with the war against Israel. Things are going to get worse. But, their plans against America seem to have stalled for a while. Bush knows this, and that is why his war on terrorism is so important to him.

Americans should continue to be on alert. OTOH, Israel has got to come up with better solutions to protecting it's people, short term and long term.
