Fyodor Re..Elmer: The XP which AMD can only make in "10s of thousands" is almost as fast as Intel's high volume NWs so that makes things great.

There is no doubt that the above refers the XP2000+ and not all XPs.<<<<<<

How so???? AMD can make all models of its XP at a greater volume than "tens of thousand"/ q. I gave you a link where AMD stated they <shipped tens of thousands of XP; but AMD gave no production figures for the XP2000. Also when Elmer refers to the high volume NW, is he referring to all NW models; the 1.9,2.0 and the 2.2 ghz models, or is he referring to the high vol. model NW, in which case he is referring to the 2.0 ghz NW, but the 2.0 NW is slower than the XP2000. However, the 2 ghz is faster than the XP1800, but we all know that model also ships in the hundreds of thousands. Who knows what Elmer is trying to say? Whatever he is trying to say, it isn't based upon the statements made by Hector in the 4q-01 CC.
