Elmer, 140 per wafer that can hold over 200 seems a reasonable yield to me. I would expect a higher yield, but I defer to your knowledge. If AMD's yields are that good you have a real problem explaining the remarkably low output of F30. Please just use your calculator and see the problem for yourself. 5K WPW * 140 DPW * 13 Weeks = 9100000 good die. Even though AMD claims to be at 100% capacity do you really think they are going to ship over 9 million Athlons from 1 Fab? Do you really think they are going to ship that many from 2 fabs? Do you really think AMD is being honest with you? EP
