The paper said another round of talks will be held in Seoul next month to agree on the extent of the sale and the price.

Briefing says this morning that no new talks are scheduled.

Looks like this is a very tough poker game going on. I have to give credit to MU for playing hardball when it comes to billion dollar purchases and I wonder what happens to Hynix if there is no agreeable offer. Does Hynix need this deal more than MU? Looks like that may be the story. If so then MU is doing the right thing by not mortgaging the company for what perhaps could be bought at a garage sale down the road.
Korean companies can be cut throat also when one examines what happened to Zenith with Korean company LG Electronics. IMHO
