Well, any talk of Enron will fall away fast. Any terrorism bill, will be passed fast. Any bill that cuts taxes, will be passed fast. The market will drop hard and fast. The American people as a whole will be yelling for protection and an economic fix. The next attack could easily be bio or nuclear (in some form). This would be a shut down of a whole area for transportation and will affect commerce and could be horrendous in the form of casualties. At that point, no group of any kind who attacks the president on any issue, of which could be construed as taking his mind off their most pressing issues, will be crucified in the next elections. Why do you think he is so popular, even in economic issues (and before you say he is not popular, read your own polls, they tell a different story).
