The real Joey was a very nice naive old guy. That is how he appeared. His writing was unique. I had much fun at the time mocking "Joey's" style, but I always thought well of him. He was taken in by the RMIL/OVIS pumpers.

Joey would write like this: (typical Joeyisms from memory)

Hi Joey,,,went to visit the RMIL office. This is for real. The offices are real nice, they are for real Joey, They had a candy dish and real nice stuff. They are really for real...Joey

Joey may have passed on or something and somehow al-len/justmyopinion apparently is using his account. Joey doesn't seem to be posting. In the end Joey felt very hurt and betrayed. It would be interesting to discover just what dynamics were involved in the usage of this account.

I think I will give it a look-see... ;) We know Joey lived up north and was fond of horse racing and people in general. We know where al-len lives in Florida. Right down to the old condo unit. They were not the same person, as I recall. Very very different. The person that posts as Joey now, is definitely an imposter.

All very interesting. What I wrote in italics was just simple "joeyisms" he would say his name several times in a post. I pictured him as a retired , grandfatherly type. I actually liked him, but always felt bad because he was used so miserably.

Marcos....we do need to find out what happened to Joey...! ;)
