>>Compaq Computer has begun selling its first "blade" servers, networked computers stacked side-by-side so that 280 can fit in a single six-foot-tall rack, the company will announce Monday.

Of course, you have tongue in cheek when saying this. Anyway, these long awaited blade servers may be the most revolutionary item in the server world this year. They allow a user to get up to 280 individual server CPUs in a standard 19" wide by 6 foot high rack. Previous high number of CPUs in the same size rack was 64, at least by the major OEMs. The only competition Intel has for the CPU part of these little guys (5.25" high X 0.75" wide X about 9" deep) is Transmeta (ooh).
