The moon's been pretty bright for the past two nights.
I like the moon shadow that the trees cast upon the grass.
They seem more pronounced than the day shadow.
Longer, more detailed, and darker.

There are no street lights where I live, so the moon provides the only source of illumination.
It gets quite bright when a layer of new fallen snow is there to help reflect it.

Nocturnal animals must think to themselves, "What a nice, bright, sunny night we are having..."

But then again maybe not.

Maybe they think to themselves, "Oh crap. Just great. That effin moon is going to blow my cover. Mr. Owl is
gonna swoop down and nail my arse...I better go look for some shadows and keep still for a few nights..."
